The project brief called for internal and external refurbishment of the existing residence in need to TLC. With its vast 22 metres frontage, the existing 2 level dwelling offers tremendous potential in its orientation towards the picturesque Lukes Bay in Hunters Hill. The horizontal expression of the façade is kept with simple detailing of the new roof, balustrading and privacy screens between living and sleeping quarters. The introduction of the new terrace timber decking has been "turned down" to form a striking linear fascia across the façade of the dwelling.
The interior palette has been kept to 2 tones complimented with simple and functional joineries. The linear theme also has been carry forward to most of the wet area in form of a feature wall finished with elongated tiling.
